All meetings except those noted otherwise will be on Thursday nights in the Collier Room in Regents Park College. When the Society has a speaker meeting there may be opportunities to dine the speaker, contact the committee for details. Unless otherwise stated all meetings begin at 8pm.

Speaker Meeting
Carolyne Larrington will address the gathering on the subject
of Morgan la Fay. Contact the committee about dining the speaker.
Thursday 4th February (3rd week)
Pancakes & Poetry/Prose & Plays
Bring your own original works or favourite pieces of Arthurian
prose or poetry that you wish to share for reading aloud.
Thursday 11th February (4th week)
Speaker Meeting
Dr Mark Atherton of Regent's Park College will talk to the society
on the subject of "Pre-Arthurian Romances in Britain".
Thursday 18th February (5th week)
Speaker Meeting
Dr. Jane Taylor of St Hilda's College will enlighten the court
with regard to "The Great Unkowns: French Romances at the
End of the Middle Ages".
Thursday 25th February (6th week)
Annual General Meeting
Good knights, ladies and gentleman of the court of Arthur in Oxford,
the time has come again when we must chose from amongst our number
one to take the Regent's place in Arthur's absence, and sundry
others to ensure that all is well maintained for the King's return.
Thursday 4th March (7th week)
Celtic Festival Preparation Evening
All who wish to may attend an evening of convivial practice for
the celtic Festival, either to obtain tips on costume or to learn
the dances.
Saturday 6th March (7th week)
CELTIC FESTIVAL
The annual Arthurian Society Celtic Festival. All members of the
Court of Arthur in Oxford are invited to attend, ideally in costume
for an evening of medieval feasting and dancing. A separate announcment
will advise on the prices and location.
End of Eighth Week
Pilgrimage
Details will be announced shortly regarding the nature of this
week's event, there will possibly be either a Saturday Day trip
or a weekend Pilgrimage. There may still be a Thursday meeting
too, stay posted for details.
